The Proud to be a dad Campaign is aimed at encouraging fathers across Quebec to show how proud they are to be fathers. Eight out of ten fathers say they wish fathers were more encouraged to assert themselves as parents and two out of three find it hard to identify with many of the fathers portrayed in the media. As such, from May 19 to June 16, we’re asking all dads to flood social media with selfies taken with their kids and use the hashtag #ProudToBeADad.
Organizations and businesses can also participate in the campaign by inviting their employees to take selfies with their kids and use the hashtag #ProudToBeADad. Promotional tools are also available to promote the campaign on the Web and on social media.
